Anti-Pigment dark spot corrector Melanin is a natural pigment that gives colour to skin. Exposure to sunlight, hormonal influences and ageing can cause an increase in melanin production and trigger hyperpigmentation. Hyperpigmentation appears as dark patches and age spots (also known as sun spots) that make skin look uneven. Eucerin Anti-Pigment Spot Corrector is a non-greasy gel with a topical applicator that makes it easy to apply precisely to small areas of hyperpigmentation. It contains Thiamidol, an effective and patented ingredient that acts at the root cause of hyperpigmentation by reducing melanin production. Applied directly to dark spots, it is clinically and dermatologically proven to reduce them and prevent their re-appearance. First results are visible after two weeks and improve continuously with regular use. Skin appears more even. Clinical and dermatological studies prove very good efficacy and skin tolerability.

Thiamidol
Thiamidol is a patented ingredient, known to fight hyperpigmentation acting at its root cause. It works by inhibiting the human tyrosinase, the key enzyme in melanin production. Hyperpigmentation can be the result of different causes, e.g. sun-induced pigment spots, post-acne marks or age spots. Key benefits are:
Reduction of Hyperpigmentation: By effectively inhibiting tyrosinase, Thiamidol decreases melanin synthesis, leading to a visible reduction in dark spots and an even skin tone.

The Eucerin Anti-Pigment Spot Corrector has been specially formulated to help target smaller areas of hyperpigmentation, rather than larger patches. For larger areas of hyperpigmentation we recommend other products from our range including the Eucerin Anti-Pigment Day Cream.
Does Eucerin Anti-Pigment Spot Corrector work like a concealer?
No. The Spot Corrector does not contain any color pigments and so does not conceal dark spots. It is a transparent formula that works to effectively reduce dark spots and prevent their reappearance and is clinically and dermatologically proven to deliver results.
