About
Foot cream for dry, cracked feet
The skin on the soles of our feet has developed to be naturally thicker and harder than skin elsewhere on the body and is particularly susceptible to dryness. Feet are often subjected to the pressures and friction that come from hard surfaces or inappropriate footwear and these stresses can cause them, especially the heel pads, to dry out further.
Eucerin UreaRepair Plus 10% Urea Foot Cream gives dry to extremely dry feet the intense moisturisation they need to be soft and smooth. It also helps to reduce thickened skin and callouses.
Enriched with Urea, Ceramide and other Natural Moisturising Factors (NMFs), the formula has been clinically proven to deliver immediate and intensive moisturisation, with results lasting for up to 48 hours. It prevents further moisture loss, strengthens skin’s natural lipid barrier, soothes extremely dry skin and repairs cracked heels.
Suitable for persons who may be prone to Xerosis, Psoriasis, Diabetes and mature skin. Also suitable as adjunctive care.

Urea is also produced naturally by the skin and is part of the essential Natural Moisturizing Factor (NMF) which regulates skin’s moisture content. Urea is hygroscopic, which means it is able to bind moisture into the outermost layer of skin, thus relieves itching and roughness, helping to fight dry skin symptoms. It is also keratolytic, meaning it improves natural exfoliation and soothes and smoothes the skin’s surface. As a substance produced naturally by the skin, Urea is well-tolerated even by dry and sensitive skin. Because all of these effects and very good study data, Urea is the gold standard in treating of dry skin.*

Ceramides are the most important skin barrier lipids. They repair and strengthen the skin's barrier function and protect the skin from drying out. Dry skin symptoms are relieved.
NMFs are a variety of water soluable compounds like amino acids, Urea and Lactic Acid which naturally occur in the stratum corneum (outer layer of the epidermis). They increase the water-binding capacity of the skin, keeping it well hydrated.
Why do I need a special moisturizer for my feet?
Our feet are particularly prone to dry skin which typically leads to problems such as calloused skin with corns and cracked heels. Wearing uncomfortable shoes can cause feet to develop pressure and friction marks. The skin on our feet is thicker than elsewhere on our bodies, which means it needs a rich and more intensive moisturizer.
How do I know if I should use Eucerin UreaRepair PLUS 10% Urea Foot Cream or Eucerin UreaRepair PLUS 30% Urea Cream?
It depends on the severity of dryness of your feet and heels. Eucerin UreaRepair PLUS 10% Urea Foot Cream is intended for daily use on dry and very dry and rough skin. If you have extremely dry patches of skin on your feet and heels we recommend the higher concentration of Urea in Eucerin UreaRepair PLUS 30% Urea Cream.
How can I tell if I have dry skin, a skin condition or a skin disease?
You can find information about dry skin as well as conditions such as Atopic Dermatitis and Psoriasis on this website. You can also take our skin test to find out more about your skin type and condition and how best to care for it. If you are still unsure, or concerned about your symptoms, we recommend you ask a pharmacist or dermatologist for advice.
